Como desativar o PrettyPrint XStream XML e ainda adicionar a folha de estilo e o Prolog?

Eu posso remover o PrettyPrint em XML (todas as devoluções de linhas de novo/carruagem) usando o compactWriter (), mas como manter meu Prolog e Stylesheets?

Atualmente, estou usando a classe Writer para adicionar Prolog e Stylesheet usando o método de gravação.

Abaixo está minha função para serializar um objeto.

Se você olhar para o Xstream documentação, eles afirmam claramente que você precisa adicionar o xml Prolog:

Why does XStream not write an XML declaration?

XStream is designed to write XML snippets, so you can embed its output into 
an existing stream or string. You can write the XML declaration yourself into 
the Writer before using it to call XStream.toXML(writer).

O código a seguir deve funcionar. Eu removi a maior parte do seu código, então você precisa colocá -lo de volta. O objetivo é apenas dar um exemplo de trabalho difícil:
