Como converter de UTM para LatLng em python ou Javascript

Eu tenho um monte de arquivos com coordenadas em forma de UTM. Para cada coordenada Tenho Este, Norte e zona. Eu preciso converter isso para LatLng para uso com o Google Map API para mostrar as informações em um mapa.
Eu encontrei algumas calculadoras online que faz isso, mas nenhum código real ou bibliotecas. http://trac.osgeo.org/proj4js/ é uma biblioteca de projeção para Javascript, mas olhando na demonstração não inclui projeção UTM.
Eu ainda sou muito fresco para todo o domínio GIS, então o que eu quero é algo ala:
(lat,lng) = transform(easting, northing, zone)

ou algo assim.

Você também pode querer dar uma olhada GDAL . A biblioteca GDAL tem um excelente suporte python, embora possa ser um pouco um exagero se você está apenas fazendo a conversão de projeção.

Eu também achei que, se você já tem o Django / gdal instalado e você sabe o código EPSG para a zona UTM que você está trabalhando, você pode simplesmente usar o Point()

Neste código, a zona UTM é 32, como deveria ser óbvio. O Easting é 539884, ea Northing é 4942158. O resultado é:

O que significa dizer 44.631671014204365N, 9.502832656648073E. Que eu tenho verified está correto.

Há um perl módulo via CPAN chamado Geografia :: NationalGrid que pode converter easting / northing para lat / longs. Essa ajuda pode.
Como alternativa existem muitos scripts na local móvel do tipo que lhe permitem converter latitude / longitude e easting / northings.
Um problema que tive com o uso proj4js foi que necessário a zona exata como @ Richard ressalta. Eu encontrei um grande recurso aqui que pode converter WGS para UTM e escreveu um invólucro limpo em JavaScript:
A resposta por Staale funcionou para mim com uma pequena modificação - O módulo de matemática não pode lidar com Pandas Series, então eu substituído todas as funções matemáticas com numpy.
No entanto, o check-in QGIS, eu vejo sobre a diferença 4m entre o UTM e LAT / LON coordenadas.
