Criando uma nova tabela em números iWork em uma folha específica utilizando applescript

Estou tendo problemas para criar uma nova tabela em uma folha específica utilizando Applescript a menos que a folha Quero inserir a nova tabela no é novo ou atual selecionado. A forma geral do código que estou usando é:

Alguém já teve mais sucesso em conseguir isso? Este me parece um pouco de um problema para alguns scripts de planilhas avançadas em Números.

OK. Minha primeira resposta foi aceita e não pode ser excluído, mas era inadequada, então eu decidi editá-lo e adicionar algum código que realmente resolver o problema!

Este código vem através Yvan Koenig, que credita Nigel Garvey. Ambos estão ativos no AppleScript usuários lista , que é excelente, pelo caminho , não menos importante por causa da atividade destes dois senhores, e tantos outros grandes AppleScripters.

Ele se baseia em GUI scripting (que é sempre uma coisa horrível ter de voltar a cair, mas é o que temos).

A chamada para my activateGUIscripting() pode causar um prompt para uma senha de administrador para aparecer. Se você absolutamente sabe que você tem GUI script habilitado (Sistema Prefs-> Universal Access-> permitir o acesso de dispositivos de assistência.) - então você pode omitir esta linha

As próximas duas linhas são apenas exemplos de chamadas, então você precisa de uma folha chamada "Folha 1" para estes exemplos de chamadas para o trabalho.

Isto irá permitir que você crie uma tabela em qualquer folha em qualquer documento, independentemente do que for selecionado ou frontmost.
