O Pycairo já está instalado, mas o script de verificação de dependências diz que não está instalado.

Solução
A instalação do python no mac os x mantém bibliotecas de uma maneira "estranha".Mude seu sistema operacional para qualquer distribuição de Linux.Instalei o Ubuntu e ele me tratou surpreendentemente bem.
