Criando LinearLayout clicando no botão

Question

Então, quero adicionar (criar) LinearLayout no aplicativo de trabalho clicando no botão.E quase faço isso, adiciono alguma coisa (espaço livre), mas não vejo nada.

Para verificar se o layout foi adicionado, coloquei TextView nele.

A pergunta é (resolvida): por que não vejo nada?Apenas o espaço livre aparece, mas nenhum TextVeiw.

Atualizar: Nova pergunta:O problema estava em layout_for_sides que possui outro LinearLayout.Removi tudo de layout_for_sides e funciona.Mas não entendo como essa outra camada impede de mostrar meu novo layout?

Problema em parâmetros errados do pai LinearLayout - layout_for_sides.

Possui android:orientation="horizontal", mas precisa de android:orientation="vertical".Por causa disso não vi nada.
