Se o aplicativo Java exigir determinada versão do JRE, como posso verificar sua disponibilidade no Mac OS X durante a instalação?

Deve ser tão simples quanto olhar para /System/Library/Frameworks/JavaVM.framework/Versions/

Por exemplo.da minha máquina:
