Do tcheckListBox ao tcxCheckListBox com uma exceção?

Eu uso este código com o TCHECKLISTBOX (LBSSTICES) e funciona bem. Mas com o TCXCHECKLISTBOX do Devexpress, ele aumenta a exceção.

Se eu depurar o código lbservices.count = 12. lbservices.items.objects [i] é nulo para todos os itens da lista. O que há de errado aqui?
