Eu sei que há muitos exemplos lá fora, sobre isso, mas todos eles se sentem um pouco datado (mesmo os docs sol) por isso estou pedindo aqui para garantir que o que estou fazendo é até à data. Como eu iria sobre a falar com javascript de dentro de um applet java? Algo simples como forma de alerta de chamada () é tudo o que eu estou procurando. Os pontos de bónus para uma maneira de verificar se o browser tem o JavaScript habilitado (esta aplicação pode ser usado em um ambiente escolar onde ter o javascript desligado é uma possibilidade real). Alterar meu comando javac para:
javac -classpath /usr/lib/Java6u1/jre/lib/plugin.jar TeamProject.java
ignora minha classe "Table" e eu recebo erros onde eu mencionar isso. Alguma idéia?

este artigo . Se você tentar chamar JS de aplicação desta página definitivamente funciona, porque há exceção js após ação de atualização do applet:)

EDIT: Para o problema de classpath você precisa adicionar plugin.jar para o seu classpath, que está localizado em% JAVA_HOME% \ jre \ lib \ plugin.jar

Eu acho que o problema é que uma Table
classe não é compilado demasiado:
Tente javac -classpath /usr/lib/Java6u1/jre/lib/plugin.jar TeamProject.java Table.java
ou usar curingas como *.java
.
Talvez você deve considerar o uso IDE como Eclipse ou Netbeans para compilar e projecto de execução em vez de lutar com ferramentas de linha de comando.

Conforme solicitado uma amostra que chama de alerta na página que está incorporado em (testado no Opera 10.01, FF 3.5.4, IE6).
Observe o MAYSCRIPT na tag applet, este deve estar presente para permitir a comunicação java-javascript. Como por padrão o acesso a JSObject
está desativada devido a razões de segurança.
