The attributeDict
returns whatever is inside the opening tag. For example, your XML sample includes a tag that looks like:
<guid isPermaLink="false">
In that case, the attributeDict
would have a single key, isPermaLink
, with a value of false
.
But the <title>
element doesn't have any attributes, so that's why its attributesDict
is null.
You want to use the foundCharacters
method to return the characters found between <title>
and </title>
.
