So I'm having some trouble writing a GD function in PHP to resize all images uploaded tto 150x150px before storage in my s3 bucket.

To confirm, this code works currently, there is just no resizing function, and I can't seem to find a simple GD function to accomplish this.

Would REALLY appreciate some help, so thanks in advance!

Use some example from imagecopyresampled()

Or here is the full code, adopted for you:

$new_width = 150;
$new_height = 150;
$image_p = imagecreatetruecolor($new_width, $new_height);
$image = imagecreatefromstring(file_get_contents($fileTempName));
imagecopyresampled($image_p, $image, 0, 0, 0, 0, $new_width, $new_height, imagesx($image), imagesy($image));

You may want to save to a new temporary file (tempnam() is useful here), which would be uploaded with putObjectFile() later:

$newFielName = tempnam(null,null); // take a llok at the tempnam and adjust parameters if needed
imagepng($image_p, $newFielName, 9); // use $newFielName in putObjectFile()

Also, don't forget to check your uploads earlier in the script with is_uploaded_file()
