Error installing rpy2 in ubuntu

Question

I'm trying to install rpy2 on ubuntu 13.10 but I keep getting the following error when I run

pip install r2py

I tried to install the package from source but I get the same error.

It is fixed in rpy2 2.3.10. (Available on pypi).

It will be probably be fixed in a later release: https://bitbucket.org/lgautier/rpy2/pull-request/28/fix-parsing-of-fopenmp-and-similar-config/diff
