He heredado una pieza de JavaScript que usa la API de Feed de Google. Llama a este alimento y devuelve XML desde TypePad: http://simplysted.realsimple.com/simplysted/adventures-in-chaos/rss.xml Si veo este feed usando la fuente Vista de Firefox, veo el XML subyacente.Hay una etiqueta XML.

Después de llamar a la API, cuando miro los resultados.xmlDocument, noté que hay un campo que no estaba allí antes.

The way I understand it, you don't get the original feed; you get a feed from Google's servers. Google loads the original feed and then feeds it back to you. Since you can even change the feed format (like to JSON or XML) I think it's safe to assume that Google will always transform and normalize it before giving it back to you.
