¿Cómo manejar un evento de artista de selección de matplotlib dentro de una QMdiAreaSubWindow creada dinámicamente?(Ejemplo dado: ¡funcionando parcialmente!)

Estoy intentando crear una aplicación Qt4 usando python y matplotlib, pero me quedé atascado en un comportamiento que no me queda del todo claro.

Esta aplicación tiene un QMdiArea que contiene los gráficos creados dinámicamente en subventanas individuales.Todo parece funcionar bien, excepto los eventos de selección de artistas que se definen previamente al trazar los datos.Aparentemente, la conexión mpl_connection "pick_event" se elimina al crear una instancia QMdiAreaSubWindow dentro de la clase MainWindow.

Curiosamente, si el mismo fragmento de código se ejecuta fuera de la aplicación MainWinddow.

Escribí una versión simplificada de mi código para reproducir el comportamiento y tal vez alguien pueda darme una pista de lo que estoy haciendo mal.

Esto no funciona:

Esto funciona:

child2 = MainWindow._mdiArea.addSubWindow(p2.plotQtCanvas())
child2.show()

Editar:Solución:

haz esto en setwidgets

self.plotList = []

y esto en plotRandom

self.plotList.append(p)

Y esto resuelve otro problema que encontré:

Añade esto en el on_release función

No cada clic del mouse activará un evento de selección, por lo que no puede desconectarlo si no se activó.
