Como lidar com um evento matplotlib pick Artist dentro de um QMdiAreaSubWindow criado dinamicamente?(Exemplo dado - parcialmente funcionando!)

Estou tentando criar um aplicativo Qt4 usando python e matplotlib, mas fiquei preso em um comportamento que não está muito claro para mim.

Esta aplicação possui um QMdiArea que contém os gráficos criados dinamicamente em subWindows individuais.Tudo parece funcionar bem, exceto os eventos de seleção do artista que são previamente definidos durante a plotagem dos dados.Aparentemente, o mpl_connection "pick_event" é eliminado ao criar uma instância QMdiAreaSubWindow dentro da classe MainWindow.

Curiosamente, se o mesmo trecho de código for executado fora do aplicativo MainWinddow.

Escrevi uma versão simplificada do meu código para reproduzir o comportamento e talvez alguém pudesse me dar uma pista do que estou fazendo de errado.

Solução

Isso não funciona:

child = MainWindow._mdiArea.addSubWindow(p.plotQtCanvas())

p = PlotGraph(x,y)
child = MainWindow._mdiArea.addSubWindow(p.plotQtCanvas())
child.show()

Isso funciona:

p = PlotGraph(x,y)
child = MainWindow._mdiArea.addSubWindow(p.plotQtCanvas())
child.show()
p2 = PlotGraph(x,y)
child2 = MainWindow._mdiArea.addSubWindow(p2.plotQtCanvas())
child2.show()

Editar:Solução:

faça isso em setwidgets

self.plotList = []

e isso em plotRandom

self.plotList.append(p)

E isso resolve outro problema que encontrei:

Adicione isso no on_release função

Nem todo clique do mouse acionará um evento de seletor, portanto você não poderá desconectá-lo se ele não for acionado.
