X/Gnomo:Como medir a geometria de uma janela aberta

Existe um programa X/Gnome padrão que exibirá a largura e profundidade X, Y em pixels de uma janela que eu selecionar?Algo semelhante à maneira como um xterm mostra a largura e a profundidade da janela (em linhas) conforme você a redimensiona.

Estou executando o Red Hat Enterprise Linux 4.4.
