Não é a solução mais limpa, mas ele funciona. Caso contrário, tente começar suas mãos em uma biblioteca de ícones que é baseada em mime tipo ou arquivo de extensão.

Um dos meu projeto de código aberto velho incluir um ícone de classe que faz exatamente isso, sinta-se livre para rasgá-lo, vendo a idade que eu colocar este arquivo em domínio público de qualquer maneira é apenas PInvoke para maior parte.

Icon.ExtractAssociatedIcon () não vai fazer o truque. Como afirma MSDN só extrai ícones < strong> contido no arquivo. Assim, a criação de arquivos fictícios não quer ajudar. Do meu conhecimento que você tem que seguir o caminho p / invoke para chegar a esses ícones. Uma questão relacionada a isso é este .
