Как установить XML :: Xerces?

Обычно, когда я пытаюсь установить модуль xml :: xerces cpan, используя стандартный CPAN> Установить XML :: Xercers, чем я получаю следующее сообщение об ошибке после некоторой обработки:

После установки переменных EnviOnment /home/username/XML-Xerces-2.7.0-0/XML-Xerces-2.7.0-0/Xerces.pm, обратите внимание здесь, я не уверен, должен ли я указать переменную свою среду на Xerces.pm или же Xerces.cpp или же Xerces-extra.pm или же Xerces.i, но сейчас я указываю переменные среды на /home/username/XML-Xerces-2.7.0-0/XML-Xerces-2.7.0-0/Xerces.pm

Вот общее правило: любая переменная среды, которая называется что -то вроде «root», запрашивает каталог, а не файл.

Тем не менее, кажется, что вы установили библиотеку Xerces, которая необходима перед установкой модуля Perl. Я процитирую некоторые части предоставленной вами вывода, так как намек, который вы пропустили, о том, что делать дальше:
